NEW ITEM (DEC'08)

The title of this illustration is "Oops, more lovely cupcake". Yummy yummy! I plan to buy cupcakes by the end of 2008, which is about 24 hours from now.
This year, I'm so blessed with everything good that God includes in my life. Thank you so much God. Thank you so much also to my adorable daughter & my wonderful husband who are very supportive with my works in art.
I met so many lovely friends through the power of internet, who wrote very lovely comments at my site too, & so many Entrecard droppers who regularly dropped their loves at my box. Thank you so much guys :)

Relax

My daughter Chinese zodiac is a Monkey. So, I was inspired by that, and tried to make a cute, innocent, but a little bit naughty to represent her monkey. It's just lovely to put on her wall in her bedroom.

Rainy day

My girl loves ballet so much, not only because she can dance, but because she can wear pretty tutu. Sometimes she doesn't want to change her tutu, & she just wears it all day long. At her age right now(4), she loves to ask many different kind of questions. When I answer her question, my answer become her question again, then I answer again, but she comes back again with her first question. Ehmm seems like never ending questions & answers :)

Tea Party

My little girl always invites me as a guess of honor to her cute tea party. Well, since I was a kid, I always became a guess in every tea party of my friends, never acted as a host. The reason was there were too many boys toys which belong to my brothers, and I didn't have any sets of tea party at our house. I was more familiar with robots, cars & trains.
So, at first, when my girl arranged her tea party, I felt like a little girl again.

100% fat free

Early Christmas gift. When I was a kid, I loved candy so much. I didn't know that too much sugar could make your body act more aggressive. Sugar is also not friendly with our teeth. That's why, I'm quite strict with my girl about eating candy. So instead of giving the real candy, this illustration is a perfect healthy Christmas gift for her (plus of course a train or Lego that she requested).

Sharing

My girl, my husband & I, love ice cream so much. When we bought ice cream, each of us had different flavor, so we could try many different flavors by sharing them. We also like to try different kind of ice cream from different country too. At this moment, we are crazy about Japanese ice cream, it has one that has jelly inside, yummy. For American ice cream, we still love Ben & Jerry. "Chunky Monkey" is my favorite. But the best fresh ice cream is "BELTS". It is originally from Stevens Point, Wisconsin. I'm not sure if they finally open it in other cities or not. By the way, they named it Belts, because they use milk which comes from cows that have belts pattern around their tummy. Miss you so much Belts. My girl for sure love this ice cream.

Balance

This painting is about balance between formal education with the books as the symbol & having fun being a kid as the elephant doll represents about playfulness. As a mother of 4 years old girl, I started to give her games since she was 3 which were not only fun but also games that stimulated her logic & made her knew more about letters & numbers. Thanks God, nowadays so many kids games which support that, so my girl could understand numbers & letters easily. I wish I had it before.

A Princess

Last weekend, my girl was a flower girl for my cousin wedding. It is always exciting moment for her to be a flower girl so she has an excuse to wear her favorite dress & be a princess.
